Windows Desktop Themes is one of the best ways to keep your PC personal. You can select your themes to match your personality and to even match your mood. Things that we are all familiar with such as nature, food, drinks, holiday seasons, and artistic motifs inspire some of the famous theme categories. Your selection of your themes does not need to be constrained to only one category or the other, rather you can choose themes based on your individual preference. Such preferences may be to help you feel more creative when you sit at your PC, or trigger a reminder to keep you working towards a specific life goal.

Color is an important consideration when you are thinking about the theme you will use on your desktop and you can select from the darker color schemes with colors like black and dark purple, or those that utilize cooler colors such as cream, beige, and light blue. Either color structure has its benefits and its short comings. The darker themes tend to require that you change the text color settings on your PC. Most of the fonts on the Windows platform are dark by default, and when you choose a new dark color theme, the text on your icons for instance can almost disappear. Though the lighter colors may require less setting changes, they have a tendency of giving your screen a light glare. You can however adjust that by making your screen slightly dimmer.

Naturally, food based themes have wild and appetizing color. However, beware that a picture of a burger on your desktop is not going to look as destructive to your waistline as it would on your plate. Yet, if you are working on a weight loss diet, it is not an empowering Windows Desktop themes to use. You may want to choose a plate of veggies which will have colors that make it just as bright and appetizing.

Nature themes always appear on the lists of the most popular themes. These can either focus on the greenery of trees and leaves, the blue of water, the red of the sun, or the brown of the rocks. There is really no limit to the amount of color you can get with nature themes. All you need is to have a little time on your hands to look at pictures upon pictures of nature before you finally get very nature-saturated and settle for the first one you saw.
